Do you charge a Booking fee? If so how much? Also, do you charge Pay to Stay – and how much. (new Sheriff is asking)

Booking fee is $25. The Sheriff decided we will no longer charge for pay to stay. If we have a work release it will be $25 per day.

Carlton County - $20 booking fee. We do not charge Pay to Stay. Anoka County - $20 booking fee. Nicollet County - We have $15 booking fee. We do not do pay for stay. Chisago County - $25.00 booking fee and $20.00 pay for stay. Stearns County - Stearns charges a $25 Booking Fee for all warrant, Probable Cause, and DOC hold matters. $20 Pay for Stay for sentenced time. 10% discount if paid at time of release.
Blue Earth County - Booking fee $25.00 and we do not do pay for stay. Cottonwood County - $20 Booking Fee and we do not do pay for stay.
Hubbard County - We charge 20.00 for a booking fee. Aitkin County has a $20.00 booking fee and $20/day pay for stay.
Rice County has a $20 booking fee and no pay for stay. Our work release are required to pay $20 per day in county and $40 per day out of county. Scott County - Booking Fee = $25.00 Pay for Stay = $25.00/day Wright County = Booking Fee $25, PFS $20 per day (sentenced) $18 if paid in full Meeker County has a $25.00 booking fee and pay for stay of $25.00 per day for those sentenced.
Carver County booking fee is $20, pay for stay daily fee is $20. Hubbard County charges $20 Booking fee and $15 per day Pay to Stay. McLeod County has a $15.00 booking fee, we do not have pay to stay.

Becker does not charge a booking fee at the jail. This is addressed in court. It used to be $10, not sure what is happening now.
We do not charge pay for stay, but we have been discussing it. Huber inmates pay $25 a day.

Crow Wing has a $25 booking fee and a $5 fee for the turnkey cards that get refunded upon release. We also charge $25 a day for pay for stay.

We are currently at a $10.00 booking fee, $5.00 turnkey card deposit, and we also assess a $20.00 Pay to stay if an inmate is sentenced and given credit for time served.

Le Sueur County has a $25 booking fee. No pay for stay. $25 daily Huber fee for our inmates, $57.50 daily for other county inmates to do Huber in our county.

Otter Tail County charges a $25 booking fee plus $5 card deposit fee for the turnkey card ($5 will get refunded at the time of release when the inmate turns in the card). We charge $20/day for Pay For Stay which is billed after release, our work release inmates pay that as they go. We charge $60/day pay for stay for commitments from other counties that have jails. If those individuals are work release their $60/day must be paid up front.
