For Crow Wing County we make all go through our standard volunteer process and become a volunteer. Only other option would be to visit via our video visiting if they don't want to go through the process.

Whether they are visiting one specific inmate or providing religious services for the jail, we collect all proper documents validating their status. Typically, they'll have some sort of Certificate of Ordination, Certificate of License into Ministry and or a Ministry Card.
If they are visiting one specific inmate, we'll log them in as a professional visit. If they are providing service for the jail, we'll have them fill out our volunteer application forms- PREA background authorization, PREA acknowledge form, Orientation agreement and Personal Data sheet.

Upon request we will gather information of where they are licensed from. Our Chaplain will review and give me an opinion. If we both agree, the clergy member will be given a pass, valid for one year.
