Hello, I am looking to see which MN counties currently use body worn cameras in the jail and what kind of policy is in place for your facilities. Looking for guidelines as to when the cameras are to be activated, how you store the information gathered by the cameras and for how long and suggestions on venders/equipment choices. If your county does use them, but you are unsure of the policy, any information for who to contact would be helpful!
Thanks! Bri Greiner 218-299-7672 briana.greiner@co.clay.mn.us

Freeborn County uses body worn cameras. I do not have policy/procedure info. You could contact my jail administrator @ Mike.Stasko@co.freeborn.mn.us

One of our Capts at the RCCF would you contact the RCCS-LEC. They use body worn cameras in their facility. The best person I would connect them with would be the assistance super. Mike T. Johnson. I believe he started he program for the LEC.
