Just wondering how many of you are using YouTube videos for programs? And if you are could you please share the name of the videos that you are using? Since there are so many videos available and it can be very time consuming searching for good ones. Also wondering if anyone is interested in sharing some programs by Zoom? Thank you - have a wonderful day.

Indeed we do use videos. I use them to teach basic MS Excel (Excel 101, etc... on You Tube), Stretching, Yoga, Relaxation (Full Body Mat Workout No Equipment, Morning Mat Workout, Relaxation Yoga for females, Yoga for men 31 mins, Yoga for neck and shoulder relief, etc....), Bible Study (3 habits of a healthy heart, Eric Thomas WORK, How to get God to hear me, Loneliness, Nick Vujicic motivational speaker, I'm confused about my calling, testimonial of heaven and hell....), AA (Buzz Aldrin, Eric Clapton, Elizabeth Vargas Personal Story...)) and NA (Addiction recovery-Sarah, Daniel Ritchie, Jay Armstrong, Michael Clark, Frank S...). Just type in those keywords for a You Tube search and a multitude of videos show up. I try to keep mine limited to a max of 30 mins or it could get too consuming for our audiences.

Chisago county is not using any form of Videos at this time. However we are starting to get the ball rolling with doing zoom meeting for programs.

I started using Celebrate Recovery videos from River Recovery Church. they do single lesson videos around 30 mins each. My volunteer sends me the lesson plan for that video and the inmates follow along. I only use the videos if the volunteer cant log in or needs to cancel.

Freeborn County has been using YouTube for Religious Sermons for Islamic and Spanish groups. No specific videos, we search and choose weekly. We also use YouTube to lead our Yoga and Insanity workouts. For Yoga we use videos from trainer Sean Vigue. For Insanity we use J & J on Ice videos. Sean Vigue has many videos but here is a link to a common one we use: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE_V6F54QFQ
We use the same 3 videos by J&J for Insanity. We play one on Monday, another on Wednesdays, and the third one on Fridays: www.youtube.com/watch?v=U05nAwmD21I www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMt7Hv6iqKw www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOA4lefs5f0
ZOOM has been a lifesaver for us. We have been able to offer programs with live volunteers such as; Money Management, Parenting, Meditation and Conversations with Friends. Most of these programs we have been able to set up so that the volunteer can run a live program to Freeborn, Steele, Mower, Rice and Goodhue County at the same time on the same ZOOM meeting.
We always run AA through ZOOM. You do not need a ZOOM account to do this. This an international live AA group that holds meetings on the hour every hour 24/7. Since we do not have full control of this program, we do not allow the video on for our detainees to be seen. The AA group has full control of muting settings, so then the only time a detainee can be heard by others is if they want to share for 1-2 min. We sit and monitor this program so that we are sure the video is always off and that if they share, it is appropriate. This has gone very smoothly and the detainees seem to like it. They get to hear different stories of overcoming addiction from different people from all over the world. Here is the link: aahomegroup.org/ You just need to scroll about half way down the page and hit the blue button that reads "current meeting" and it will bring you right into the meeting.
