Is anyone allowing Huber participants out of your facility, and if so what is your policy/procedure if you would be so kind to share.

Our Huber people are being allowed out to work. They come in directly to Huber locker room, they are required to shower, then brought to separate housing unit. They are not allowed out of the unit at all.

At the Sherburne County jail, we do not have any Huber inmates currently. When this initially was kicking off, we went to our Judges and got modified orders to release them to a later date. That later date initially was June however now they have re-modified them to August. We currently have no community release (STS/Huber) inmates.

No work release or STS. When all county employees are back to work is when we will open the programs back up.

We have just started releasing our DOC work release (4 participants) offenders back to work. They agreed to be housed in our quarantine unit where new in custodies are housed. They are housed together and have their hour(s) out together. They have their temperatures monitored by staff when they enter and before they leave each day. We contacted their places of employment to get their procedures in place during this time. This way we can ensure they're taking precautions to help stop the spread to avoid it coming into the jail. The offenders are required to wear a mask when leaving and entering the building and all employers, whether the other employees are required or not, have agreed that our offenders would wear them. The Huber is for work only, at this time no other passes will be given unless emergent or on a case by case basis. As always, they are encouraged to clean and disinfect all common areas and required to maintain proper hygiene practices.

Chisago County is not allowing Huber at this time. We are looking at doing a house arrest/work release from home if approved by the courts. If the courts agree I will be putting a GPS ankle bracelet and a pbt on to monitor them. We will also but apply a sweat sticker that I send in and can be tested to see if a person has used and drugs in a 2 week time period.
