How are other counties handling the “Notice of Restoration of Right to Vote?” When and how everyone is getting the information out to that inmates it applies to?

Anoka - Probation is taking care of this. Programs is not involved. Koochiching has a written letter that explains the information in a release packet that is given to all released inmates.

Kanabec - I have been informed that we will be giving this notice to all inmates being released.

I have been put in charge to make sure these notices are available via our reliance texting/kiosk devices and will be released with the individuals in our release packet. I have been in contact with our Auditors office for questions related to absentee ballots, as there will more than likely be an increase of requests for these.
